Privacy Policy
RPC Hardware is committed to protecting your privacy and providing a safe and reliable shopping experience. We handle your personal information responsibly and in line with Australian privacy expectations. Where applicable, we follow the principles outlined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Collection of Personal Information
You can browse most of our website without providing personal details. However, certain features—such as creating an account, placing an order, or accessing customer support—require you to provide personally identifiable information. This may include your name, address, email, phone number, and login details.
In cases such as password recovery, you may be asked to provide additional information to verify your identity.
Use of Personal Information
We use your personal information to process and deliver your orders, provide customer support, communicate updates about your purchase, and improve website performance and user experience.
We also collect non-personal information such as browser type, operating system, pages viewed, access times, and referring websites. This helps us understand visitor behaviour and improve our site.
If our information practices change in the future, new uses will apply only to data collected after the policy update.
Sharing of Personal Information
We may engage trusted third-party service providers to assist with tasks such as processing payments, handling customer enquiries, and shipping and logistics. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services and are required to protect your data and maintain confidentiality.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party.
Access to Your Information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, subject to certain legal exceptions. Requests may need to be made in writing for security reasons. A small fee may apply to cover the cost of retrieving and supplying the information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
